Why we built it
Words stick when they come with a story.
Vocabulary lists and grammar rules are easy to forget. Meeting the same words inside a story, with context and a reason to care, is how they stay. Story of the Day turns that into a daily habit that fits into a coffee break.

How it works
Stories written for you, every day.
Each story is generated with AI for your chosen language, topic and level, from beginner (A1–A2) through intermediate (B1–B2) to advanced (C1–C2). Sentence-by-sentence translations in your native language are there when you get stuck, every story can be read aloud, and word games like Picture Words and the Card Game help new vocabulary stick. Your favorites, quiz history and progress follow you across devices, in any of the 14 languages you choose to learn.

Private by default.
We only keep what the app needs to work: your account, your settings and your learning progress. You can delete your account and its data from the app at any time. Story of the Day follows the GDPR; the full details are in our privacy policy.
